Data Privacy Policy
At SCA Prep, your privacy is central to the service. We collect only the information needed to provide learner accounts, consultations, feedback, portfolio evidence, and supervisor sharing.
Data collection
- Identity data such as name, email address, training grade, and optional GMC or training details.
- Performance data such as consultation transcripts, scores, RAG ratings, feedback reports, and portfolio evidence.
- Technical data needed for authentication, security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
AI processing
Consultation transcripts are processed to provide patient simulation, examiner feedback, coaching summaries, and NICE-aligned evidence review. Hidden case data is separated from learner-facing case detail.
Clinical Safety & Accuracy
SCA Prep is an educational simulation tool for examination preparation. It is not a clinical decision support tool and must not be used for real patient care.
Important disclaimer
All scenarios, patient cases, and rationales are simulated. Users must exercise professional judgment and refer to official NICE, GMC, RCGP, and local guidance for actual clinical practice.
Guideline alignment
Clinical review is generated from the transcript, case diagnosis/topic, expected management, marking/safety evidence, and available NICE or knowledge-base chunks. Medical knowledge changes, so discrepancies should be reported for review.
User Conduct & Academic Integrity
Users must use the platform professionally and honestly. The system is designed to improve consultation skill, not to reproduce live examination content.
- Do not share account credentials or attempt to bypass subscription limits.
- Do not attempt to extract hidden role-player or examiner data from AI patient interactions.
- Do not prompt the AI to produce harmful, discriminatory, or clinically unsafe content.
Terms of Service
By using SCA Prep, you agree that the platform is provided for educational practice and self-improvement. Access may be limited or suspended for misuse, credential sharing, security abuse, or attempts to compromise the clinical safety controls.
Subscriptions, supervisor sharing, recordings, and portfolio evidence are governed by the product settings available in your account and by any institutional agreement where applicable.
